What Is Running ?

Running is the first exercise we as human beings do. As we are born, the first thing as an exercise we do is run. We have been running since our first ancestors.

Why should we run?

First thing It is free. It burns more calories than most of the exercises known today. It also reduces the risk of many chronic disease such as diabetes, heart disease. Boosts your immune system and improves mood.

How to start?

The very first things if you wanted to run is shoes. Buy a pair of shoes to avoid injury and be comfortable to experience running. Also take some water and take a sip or two if you feel thirsty .
Don’t rush. Start with a gentle walk as long as you are warmed enough and feel like running. The start with a slow peace and gradually increase your speed to your endurance.
Take interval in between running and walking also stretching will help you get that extra steps.

Run with a friend !!

It will keep up will your routine. Your friend, partner or spouse with whom you run will always be with you, when you feel demotivated. A little talk will help more than you think.

Set everyday goal !!

Setting everyday goal with encourage you to get that extra mile. First you run 200 metres increase a extra 100 metres in every 2-3 days.

Keep tracking progress !!!

Keep notes of your everyday run. You time, distance , weather conditions and also how you felt in that specific run. Whenever you are demotivated you can see you journal and see how much you have improved and you will feel motivated again.

Be consistent !!

You can’t achieve your goal until and unless you are consistent. Do little mix things up but go run daily. Only then you can be fit and healthy and can enjoy and feel life much better.
